misogyny is more related to culture but that does not mean that Islam is less harmful. Actually muslim clerics hate women I see that by reading their books! I can tell that both religion and culture are responsible for that.

In afghanistan: they cut the nose of any woman who escapes from her husband="culture"

In Egypt: virginity test = "culture"

In Saudi: male guardianship = "culture"
