I remember you from youtube, I don't blame you from closing shop, life is too short to endure viscous personal attacks. I always respond in kind though, throw some old jacobin rhetoric back at them, but it seldom ends well.

Ness, I can understand your family, too, in the sense that I empathize with them. They are probably scared for you. They have been indoctrinated for generations, it's hard to break free. It may take time. I hope you're still in good terms with them.

after realizing the depth of xenophobia,  misogynistic, and homophobic ideals islam had imposed, instilled and embedded in me.. through a cultural and religious upbringing.. it become easier to reconcile my loss of faith.. and my family knows i no longer follow any religion, but they can't bring themselves to say it out loud yet.. lol..
