I worked as a PA in the Cdn Navy and at mine sites when I retired. We do physician work under the supervision of an MD. Albeit they can be next door or a 1,000 miles away.

We tended to keep people working as we could prescribe and treat most common illness, injury. Saved having to fly people great distances for minor ailments. Anyway google PA and have a look.....
