One of the tactics used by Muhammad to cover up his contradictions is called "Naskh",which is also known as replacing one verse with another. The conceptual application of this is that Islam is a gradual revelation as the Quran was revealed over 20 years. The "replacing one verse with another" is mentioned in the Quran in these ayats
And when We exchange a verse in
place of another verse --and God
knows very well what He is sending
down --they say, 'Thou art a mere
forger!'Nay, but the most of them have
We do not abrogate a verse or cause itto be forgotten except that We bring
forth [one] better than it or similar to it.
Do you not know that Allah is over all
The problem is that if Allah changes a future event, the event that was changed becomes false because it wont happen(when the "new" and old verses contradict each other). For example, what is the food of Hell?
No food will there be for them but a bitter Dhari
Nor hath he any food except the foul pus from the washing of wounds
Is that the better entertainment or the Tree of Zaqqum? For We have truly made it (as) a trial
for the wrong-doers. For it is a tree that springs out of the bottom of Hell-Fire:The shoots of its
fruit-stalks are like the heads of devils: Truly they will eat thereof and fill their bellies therewith.
Then on top of that they will be given a mixture made of boiling water. Then shall their return be
to the (Blazing) Fire
Muslims will say that there is no contradiction in these verses because:
I made a video visualizing this paradox: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2vRNxt9i-_Q
Bonus paradox,changing past events?!?!
The Quran is also inconsistent on past events, you would have to be fucking retarded to deny this one. Did Allah save all of Lot's family or did he save lot's family except his wife
The people of Lot rejected Our Warnings We Sent against them a storm of stones which destroyed them all-except the family of Lot
We sent Lot,who said to his people......So We saved him and his family-except for his Wife
The problem with saying,"There is no contradiction because his wife was no longer part of his family" is bogus because the Quran clearly mentions his wife as part of his family.
