Creationism banned at all public schools in the UK

I've only just heard the good news that the UK government have issued a ban on the teaching of creationism in all existing and new Academies and public schools in the UK, this is great news and a victory for the Humanist community. How are we Atheists seen to the world

Nearly half of all Americans said they would hate it if they had an Atheist in-law, apart from showing how fucked up Christians are in America, this also shows how far the secular movement has to go in convincing people of the validity of their argument. The Pledge of Allegiance

The Pledge of Allegiance was written in August 1892 by the socialist minister Francis Bellamy (1855-1931). It was originally published in The Youth's Companion on September 8, 1892. Bellamy had hoped that the pledge would be used by citizens in any country.

In its original form it read:

"I pledge allegiance to my Flag and the Republic for which it stands, one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

Christian inequality and discrimination

If a country like the UK which is called a Christian country with an a established church with two thousand years of religious control, how can it accept such gaps between the rich and the poor in our society without the churches and Mosques going out onto the streets to complain and campaign about such injustice.
