they say god, king, empire. Well, there may be no god, we have a queen now, with no real power, and the empire is dead. But we can still sip tea, nibble scones, and discuss the politics of the mother country, of the various commonwealthers, or international.See More

I am on a unionist mailing list, the admin just shared this email he got. It made my day.

"I used to support a united Ireland...I am an American of mostly English and Scots-Irish aka Ulster Scot heritage. It is my natural inclination to oppose imperialism, thus why I have in the past supported united Ireland. BUT...after finding out how fucking BACKWARDS Ireland is as a result of what happened to Savita, I no longer support it. Keep Northern Ireland…

Bible verses to make a christian blush part one

Same rules as last, if you wish to challenge my interpretation, 1611 KJV or Vulgate please.I will be including bible verses that would possibly get you arrested, or accused of being a pervert, should you teach them to children. This is not an exhaustive list.

Genesis 9:21-25- Noah gets drunk, passes out naked. His youngest son stumbles on him drunk and decides to cover him with a blanket. For being embarrassed that his dad was naked for all to see passed out drunk, he gets banished…

Hi Z. I read this article: President Obama - Get Tough on Corporate Welfare and thought of you because this is the kind of thing I complain about and you doubt, or haven't heard much about. This kind of information isn't readily available so almost no one hears, or reads about it. Anyway Ralph Nader has done a good job addressing corporate excesses through out his career and this article is typical of that. I believe he's written several if not many books on this specific topic. This article is a good overview of a problem that I think should be addressed. Last week I read an interesting article talking about transferring oil and coal  subsidies to renewable sources. Fortunately I found it. Here it is: Fossil Fuel Subsidies in the U.S. must be ended to level the playing field so renewable clean energy is cost competitive.

I've been busy for the past three,or four months because my mom was sick. She died on Jan 13th. I'm coping ok, so thanks in advance for condolences. Though I still have trouble sleeping sometimes. Like now @ 3:58 a.m. I'm beginning to have more time to spend on the internet and the A/U forum and will start reading, commenting and posting again.

Take care,

Chris
