How to Celebrate Passover, Jewish-Atheist Style

Posted on April 6, 2012 at 7:30pm 1 Comment

Even though I spent more than a few years as a "good Catholic boy", for a time there I was deeply in love with a lovely, long-legged "Jewish Princess", who eventually broke my heart. Sigh...

Although her family was not particularly "observant", during that time, I learned much about the traditional Jewish culture, mostly from her extremely old grandmother,…

Hey Richard, thanks for the comments. I've spent much of my life in the Chicago area, still lots of family in the western and northwestern suburbs. You never know, might have to have a AU meetup somewhere. =)

That is Ok Richard.

I log on daily for an hour or two listen to an Aussie radio station when the missus is not around. and while I am at it I read what people are saying and put in my tuppence's worth as well.

I like the site because we can have a civilised discussion on basically anything and everything. I also learn things that I would otherwise would have overlooked.

I like your bullshit stamp - will borrow.

I also worked for 30 years, it was in the movie and TV production business. Most of the people I've ever met in this industry were either not competent enough or too busy with their own person to undertake a plot of the scale imagined by the conspirationists. Indeed most barely managed their own legit workload, let alone a parallel agenda.

Some people are really creative (feverishly so sometimes) when it comes to filling the gaps in their knowledge.

Perhaps so. Have a great day. That's an order. LOL

No. It was clear someone else had written the piece and you were merely sharing it.

Your view seems to be very close to mine now. So that's great.

Color me confused however, that your reply to my first comment to your thread was hostile and telling me how to post to your thread. Or maybe that was meant to be sarcasm?

I am very very sorry if my comment offended you;  it was not intended that way. It was insensitive of me and me writing that you had been an altar boy never meant to be construed as that you would have been taken advantage of... I don't know if I sound too atheist or too religious, I have no idea, I just write what I think and thanks for the advice I will think before sending the send button, (I'm sending this now and I truly hope you won't find it offensive)

Yours truly,

Marianne
