The Hype, The Wonder, The Message! Ceenom, the beginnings of a new delusion

Posted on November 29, 2013 at 1:15pm 4 Comments

The "Ceen Foundation" has decided to enlighten us with their "Message." Be advised, the message is only to be read by "serious" readers; serious as in seriously fucked up.

I spent some time today reading the "Message" as seriously as I could. Going through the nonsense, especially the…

Here's a few images for you to check out. What mighty city is this that needs such a show of force? Lansing MI, with a population of 114,000, is apparently under siege by the populace. At least one might think so looking at the following images. These are from today and there's not a protestor in site.…

Hi Neal,

My brother said he's reading a book about the history of Air Traffic Controllers Union (PACTO?) on a Kindle. He doesn't remember the title because it's not a book with a cover he can see. He said the Union started because the controllers were complaining about using 'left over' WWII radar in the late '50's and early '60's. He said the book blamed it on the FAA rather than congressional funding. He hasn't finished the book yet. I worked with several former Electronics Technictions for the FAA who complained about lack of funding and integration of the radio and radar systems within the air traffic control system. That problem obvioulsy hasn't gone away. Flying is still safer than other modes of transportation. I think the stress of the system is placed on the personell when technology is available to make it easier for the piolots  flight controllers, and technitions behind the curtian who work hard every day to make it safe for travvelers.

Ronney Reygun did a wonderful job of breaking PACTO.

I thought the Indonesian flight that was shot down over Ukrane was the airlines fault. British Airways and Air France routed flights around  the war zone.

Indonesian airline seems impervious to quality. Considering the 'lost flight,' and recent downing quality seems to be that last of their concerns and is the last international airline I would board..

I used to belong to UPTO. United Power Trades Organization. UPTO held a strike after Reagan broke the Air Traffic Controller union. The Union turned over managing NW hydroelectric power plants over to management during the strike.  UPTO still has has a high percentage of membership. Unfortunately the ACOE, who manages the hydroelectric plants in the NW became even worse at managing human and natural resourses over time.

The LT CO commanding our division of the watershed was promoted and oversaw the 'rebuilding' of New Orleans. An entomologist with a couple of PhD.s one in soil science tried to talk with him about why the retaining walls holding back the water fell over. The CO told him in a sarcastic question: "Are you an Engineer?" when the scholar said no, the CO told him to 'shut the fuck up.

Neal, I enjoyed your song "Dreams of War". It makes me think you might like the essay I got published in the local paper just last week. It's called "Flag Waiving", and can be read here:

I see you're from Michigan, Neal. I was born in Kalamazoo (but only because there wasn't a hospital in Paw Paw yet), and raised in Paw Paw, Galesburg, and mostly St. Joseph (all in MI). After getting out of the Army and returning to MI, I also lived briefly in Stevensville, Benton Harbor, and Sodus. But I've been in California for many years now, partly because MI is just too damned conservative, and too churchy.
