I believe this is an interesting question since superstition borders with many mental issues such as phobias; fear of the dark, of elevators, of heights. Phobias have already been discussed here,…Continue

The following article is taken from wikipedia and there were a nice picture of a woman in the 19th century advertising (already) coca cola.
I find myself amazed at the impact that advertisements have on our lives, and even on the net there are some; basically everywhere (except in a book or more seriousthings such as a documentary on radio or T.V. or in your own home because as soon as you get to look at the world outside or you step out of your home your…

If I watch a documentary it is because I am really interested in the topic. Well, I got very frustrated when watching an hour on the rosicrucians and an hour on the freemasons; I think I learned almost zilt!
Those documentaries were named something like The secret Sign about secret, mysterious religious societies. The 1st one was about the rosicrucians (AMORC) but it seemed rehearsed, the other one too, about the freemasons, and I learned very little about what really went on in…

Death has always been a much written about and much sung about topic, and death by one's hand. It has also been a subject that has been much researched and studied and still is, that is, suicide is.
Many people think about suicide in the course of their lives, maybe some not and some more than others, and a very very few minority actually kill themselves.
I have had death as a companion never too far away for most of my life. Now, as I grow older and I can get some distance…

Beauty doesn't necessarily have to do with the criteria that apply at this period in time whether it be for women or men...Or also as to other periods in world history and in different cultures, "physical beauty has been or is described very differently in different eras and cultures, for example in african countries, fat women are considered to be very attractive and beautiful, one can guess why (abundance...) while still now in the western world and still in this 21st century we are stuck…

Mais je lis la plupart de ce que vous écrivez, Entre-temps j'essais d'améliorer mon niveau d'anglais.

From that link:
Welcome to the missionary church of kopimism
The swedish Constitution Act, Chapter 2. § 1 states that every citizen is against the government guaranteed freedom of religion: freedom, either alone or with others to practice their religion.”
A religion is a belief system with rituals.
The missionary kopimistsamfundet is a religious group centered in Sweden who believe that copying and the sharing of information is the best and most beautiful that is. To have your information copied is a token of appreciation, that someone think you have done something good.
* All knowledge to all
* The search for knowledge is sacred
* The circulation of knowledge is sacred
* The act of copying is sacred.
All people should have access to all information produced. A gigantic Boosting Knowledge for humanity.
Aimsplode Asplode said… Aimsplode was /supposed/ to be pronounced A-imsplode, as a parody of Asplode, meaning to explode outward. A-imsplode, obviously, would mean exploding inward. Only afterward when people started calling me Aim for short (I've used this nickname for over seven years on thousands of sites) did I notice people were pronouncing it Aim-splode. So I just stuck with it, because really, I like it alot better than A-im-splode. Aimsplode sounds fluent, aswell :D I must note I never use my real name on anything, because I really don't want my name on teh interwebs at all.

re: the "Priest" vid by Lynch...
It was a bit of admittedly controversial but nonetheless highly topical HUMOR, which is typically "over the top" by definition (otherwise it just wouldn't really be "funny", per se), and it seemed to be relevant to those who eschew all things "religious", which is the ONLY reason I shared it here.
With that said, while you have every right to express your opinion about the song, your baseless assumptions about my personal life (past OR present) were totally uncalled for and definitely NOT appreciated.
If in fact I had been the youthful victim of sexual molestation (which I was NOT, not that that is anybody else's business), posting such insensitive implications on a semi-public website would undoubtedly have been extremely hurtful, which presumably was not your intention (one would hope?), but the point is, perhaps you might want to think a bit more carefully about the potential consequences of your written words BEFORE you hit the "send" button.
After reviewing some of your writing on this site, I get the distinct impression that you are very proud of your "atheistic beliefs" (an oxymoron?), however it seems to be a self-evident truth that being considerate of other people's feelings is not necessarily a "religious" virtue.
Don'tcha think, or don'tcha?
