Secular Humanist Ministries

Atheism and a general lack of conformity to major religions has a tendency to be viewed poorly in the public eye. Promote Acceptance:

I want to apply for the HUD grant for community enrichment and start an urban farming project in my community. It made me think... when you need food or shelter or counseling and you can't pay.. where do they send you? Churches. Ministries, for their food banks and homeless shelters... Are there secular ministries? What about starting one? What about good people with logical grasps on life banding together to facilitate change and enrich the community dynamic. What if that could change the public view of atheism?
