"There is a product in the States called Bisquick. I don't mean to  advertize. I use it for dumplings, pancakes,  waffles, meat and fruit pies.  It would probably work well for scones as well. "

Yes, we live in the middle of the province away from the larger centers & we are quite comfortable here. Its also gorgeous!

We only hear about the Ukraine from the tv news & of course we never know how accurate the reports are.
