I'm not a presidential scholar Richard and would have to spend quite a bit of time to put together an accurate list. Indeed Buchanan is rated as one of the worst presidents. My rating was off the cuff. I don't understand why Reagan is and was always rated so high. The myth that he caused USSR to dissolve probably is a large reason he isn't rated lower. His public relations team of neoliberals and Christians continue to prop him up. As more national security information is released his rating may drop. I follow the torture used by W back to Reagan in Central America. Reagan's involvement in Central and South American war crimes may never be realized by Americans.

My apologies for intruding into your nations internal politics but as an outside observer it would seem to me that your 15th president holds the title of the worst of all time. Was it not Buchanan's policies and inaction that led to your civil war?

Wasn't Ronnie Raygun the one who, through his tone tried to change "liberal" into something disgusting?  For me it's still a toss-up of who the worst president was. Reagan, or W. It's a close call.
