Dear Friends

This site has always been about developing a strong community of atheists, and we will continue to strive to create that community. In pursuit of that goal, this year we will be introducing many more community focused events and discussions to enhance our members experience when visiting Atheist Universe. Many changes will take place in the coming months, we hope you will visit and let us know if we are heading in the right direction.

You come here often enough, for the sense of community, the good discussions, the critical thinking and the many opportunities for all of us to learn together. You contribute intellectually, you comment, we keep each other company.

We want to keep our site free of those tacky ads that really, really, would annoy the hell out of most of you. Think about what this site is worth to you, I'm sure at least a few cents per day, or a few dollars per month. Please contribute whatever amount you feel comfortable with. It all helps! Don't be stingy, think of all the money religious believers give to their useless religious institutions! I'm sure we are worth at least the cost of coffee and a pastry or two.

Don't delay. You don't want to incur the wrath of your fellow atheists. Remember that we eat babies and can kill Xmas with a single icy look!

The coming year will be full of excitement for atheists. The movement towards reason will continue, the frontal assault on myth will continue. Talk to your friendly theists, let them know we exist and aren't going away. Continue to support organized atheism; fight the good fight.
