Their whole thinking is asininely non human and free market.  It is like Wheat farmers complaining about people eating rice or corn.  We need a variety of energy supplies and demonizing those who want to use windmills is like oil companies in the 1890's complaining that people wanted to use gasoline instead of kerosene.

Comment by Chris on May 11, 2012 at 9:50am

On the anti-windmill campaign. The goal is to discredit anything that has to do to reduce climate change. Money going into windmills will take money from gas and oil to generate electricity.

Bristol Palin Has Helpful Parenting Advice for President Obama

Bristol Palin — reality star, abstinence-only-education spokes-single mother and widely accepted greatest role model in America — has some really excellent advice for President Obama:Sometimes it's best to teach your children bullshit science, open-d...

"While it's great to listen to your kids' ideas, there’s also a time when dads simply need to be dads," Bristol, the eldest daughter of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, wrote in a blog post titled "Hail to the Chiefs — Malia and Sasha Obama" on Thursday.

Obama said on Wednesday that his daughers' acceptance of friends with same-sex parents helped prompt his "change in perspective."

In response, Palin writes: "In this case, it would’ve been helpful for him to explain to Malia and Sasha that while her friends parents are no doubt lovely people, that’s not a reason to change thousands of years of thinking about marriage. Or that — as great as her friends may be — we know that in general kids do better growing up in a mother/father home. Ideally, fathers help shape their kids’ worldview."

I am so happy she's back in the cultural spotlight. Really, one of the finer aspects of American culture.

President Obama - the most left wing President EVER!

Malkin Award Nominee

"This reaffirms my conviction that Mr. Obama is by far the most left-wing person to ever hold the office of the American presidency. He believes in an ever-expanding state, irrespective of debt; he believes in using presidential power through unaccountable “czars” to carry out his wishes; he does not believe in American exceptionalism (the left-wing FDR did); and he supports same-sex marriage, the most radical social experiment in modern history," - Dennis Prager, NRO.

Those Colorado signs show how republicans win elections by framing/twisting thoughts for simplistic jackals that unfortunately have figured out how to vote.

Compass Colorado, a conservative outside spending group, is launching a new billboard campaign that ties President Barack Obama to Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the widely reviled president of Iran.

The 28 billboards will go up across Colorado, and will also feature one of three Democratic lawmakers — U.S. Rep. Ed Perlmutter, state Rep. Sal Pace, and state Rep. Joe Miklosi — depending on the sign's geographical placement.

According to the group's website, the ads are meant to highlight "President Obama and his allies' opposition to American energy independence."

Here's what the Perlmutter billboard looks like:

Rep. Allen West On Food Stamps: ‘That’s How You Enslave The America...

As if poor people didn’t have enough to worry about, Rep. Allen West (R-FL) has given them one more: enslavement.

West, speaking at the Broward County Lincoln Day Dinner this past Saturday, warned the crowd about the danger of food stamps for American society. “In the last 10 years,” West said, the “food stamp program that has gone from about $20.6 billion to over $75 billion.” The Florida congressmen saw this increase not as a society practicing compassion for its most needy, but as a more nefarious plot. “That’s not how you empower the American people,” West declared. “That’s how you enslave the American people.”

WEST: What have we seen happen recently, in the last 10 years? A food stamp program that has gone from about $20.6 billion to over $75 billion in allocation of funds. A 267 percent increase. That’s not how you empower the American people. That’s how you enslave the American people. That’s how you drive toward economic dependence instead of economic freedom.

Watch it:

Of course, there is a very good reason for the rise in demand for food stamps: the Great Recession. The economic downturn threw millions of Americans out of work, and the government has rightfully aided those who are down on their luck. As the economy recovers, the demand for food stamps is projected to decrease.

Far from being a pernicious plot to enslave the American people, food stamps are currently working just as they’re intended to: to ensure that those who live in poverty get enough to eat. As the non-partisan Center on Budget and Policy Priorities notes, food stamps are a “powerful anti-poverty program” that “lifted about 4 million Americans above the poverty line in 2010, including about 2 million children.”

Still, the situation for these Americans remains perilous, at best. House Budget Chairman Paul Ryan (R-WI) is currently trying to slash food stamp funding, a proposal that West voted for.

Tony Perkins Claims His Children Are Not Gay Because ‘We Are Teachi...

As North Carolinians headed to the polls to support Amendment 1, a measure that outlaws marriage equality, civil unions, and domestic partnerships in the state constitution, the Family Research Council’s Tony Perkins appeared on CNN to argue that people can become gay because of the “environment they’re raised in” and blamed their marriages on high heterosexual divorce rates.

“Further redefining marriage, the reason we have cohabitation at skyrocketing rates is because we have redefine marriage in a way through no fault divorce making it almost meaningless to many, but to the further step of redefining it completely and saying marriage is whatever you want to make it to be,” he said. “If you’re two people and you love each other, that’s all that counts.”

Asked how he would respond if one of his five children came out as gay, Perkins claimed, “I doubt that would happen with my children as we are teaching them the right ways that they are to interact as human beings, we’re not allowing them to be indoctrinated by the education system.” He added, “it is environment, it is environment…I do think that it’s a product or a happening of environment and events, things that they’re exposed to.” Watch it:

Perkins’ Family Research Council opposes any legal recognition of gay people or their relationships and has been labeled as a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center.
