Hi Chris,

Can you please start a thread in the forum when you post rather than a wall post. Thank you!

Hi Lauren,

Not sure if I posted this here before. it is interesting.

Do you think the Republican and Democratic parties are based on economic theory?

The Republican party seems to cater to superstition, religion, and the anti-science crowd.  That isn't true. It's about keeping money at the top.

The Republican party also seems to be about unfettered capitalism, as though they are able to self regulate.

It's interesting how some think they reside in the economic structure. Almost everyone except for the top 400 richest people in the world  don't have much impact on policy.

If the U.S. abandoned the two party system and had campaign finance reform more capable politicians may be available for election.

I briefly looked into what it would cost for individual citizens to finance campaigns and found that if each eligible voter contributed ~$250 it would equal the equivalent of the conglomerates who contribute.

Lawmakers More Likely To Meet With Campaign Donors Than Constituent...

As you know there are many other studies that provide the same results.

There was a first 9/11 -1973 in Chile.

It's interesting how some, subscribe to and promote a political orthodox.

Republican Atheists gives tribute to September 11, 2001, a day that devastated not only America, but the entire world. This is in memory of those who lost their lives that day.

That petition is bloody stupid. Total waste of space.

How typical of the right to do something like this.

Sign the petition to formally recognize Antifa as a terrorist group. 100,000 signatures were needed, there is currently 233k+ signatures and is quickly growing. https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/formally-recognize-antifa...
