Who knew that atheism is a conservative value, turns out David Silverman, President of the American Atheists does! Silverman, debates a non-believer (someone who does not believe that there is NO god), at CPAC 2015 (Conservative Political Action Conference), then answers questions about what the Founding Fathers intended, what can morality be without god, atheist genocide and the murder of the founder of American Atheists, Madalyn Murray O'Hair. For those interested in the O'Hair murder see the Forensic Science show https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Iz0X...

Lauren,

What do you think the difference is between R's and D's?

I've always said that a persons political stance has nothing to do with their Atheism. We Atheists come in many political colours and hues, I myself am a Socialist and a friend of mine is a conservative and the only thing we agree upon is our Atheism and we both believe in the separation of church and state.

Republican Atheists general stance is that political parties are dynamic and can be shaped according to input from its members. Therefore we are building a platform for non-religious members in the Republican Party to contribute influence.

There are many reasons why a person would vote Republican, just like there are many reasons that a person would vote for any other political party.

Hi Lauren, Question?

Do Republican elected official bid bills for corporations while ignoring 'the public"

Furthermore why do poor people vote for corporate interests while it seems to be counter for their self interests?

I always heard that working people shouldn't vote repupublican.

Is there a problem with the two party system?

Thanks,

Chris

Hi Lauren,

I'm not a Republican, or Democrat.

It seems to me that both 'parties' are broken as political institutions.

What do you think of Rank, or preferential Voting?
