Having the neurotoxin Botox injected into the scrotum for fun and ego may be a good reason to support tort reform

opposite of the common policy where patients are unable to even file a law suit against wacko doctors and pharmacutical companies.

There are some great plastic surgeons. Taking wrinkles out of scrotums just for the fun and money of of it doesn't qualify as appropriate use of medical resources.

The wrinkles are there to keep the sperm 4-5 degrees below body temperature. A benifit to this may be that people who undergo scrotum dewrinkling surgery may become infertle. A vasectamy is a better option.

For what it's worth King louis XVI (1754-1793) was married with Marie Antoinette (in case you don't want to look at the following link.).  It's reported he had phimosis would have been a valid reason for forskin surgery called frenulopasty which isn't circumcision.

Circumcision is as inappropriate as labiaplasty.

It's almost unbelievable to me how many people want Tort reform because they are uninformed willingly, or unwillingly to know what Tort reform means.

There hasn't been much talk about this for the past 15 years or so in the U.S., probably because the U.S. congress gave medical insurance and pharmacutical companies what they want which is a free reign to injure patients without allowing them adequate redress through the court system.

Externalizing costs incurred by corporations (including the medical and pharmicutical industries) is the montra of Neo-Liberal government economic policy. As a citizen one should view it as a type of subsidy we pay for corporate malfeasance.

Other doctors and medical schools (Universities) participated with the CIA in other forms of depravity such as the MK Ultra project and LSD experiments.

There are more than enough psycopathic MD's and Psychiatrists to fill the need for torture programs which should be illegal, but is still carried on to one degree or another.

With the greed and corruption of the health insurance companies and pharmicutical industry there should be more than enough psycopathic doctors to go around.

It's bad enough to cut someones leg, or hip open to install an artificial joint. At least in those cases hopefully the end result will be a better quality of life for the patient undergoing the proceedure.

Circumcision as cosmetic surgery is needlessly cruel. I worked with a guy who said he felt out of place with the other guys while he was in the Airforce so he had circumcision surgery when he was in his twenties. At least he was somewhat of an adult and made the discision on his one to suffer the healing. He had some funny stories about it. Doing that to a new born baby is cruel. Another guy I knew who was in the Navy said in the Pacific Island he was raised circimcision was done at around age 13 - like a sick Bar Mitzvah. The island he was raised on also had people nailing themselves to crosses to carry around town to commemerate Jesus on the cross as an Easter celebration.

It would be benificial if medicine was more closely tied to the science of healing rather than the superstition of religion, or even worse in any way related to torture.

Why are board certified MD's allowed to maintain their medical license while they exicute prisoners convicted of capital crimes?

http://www.democracynow.org/2014/4/30/execution_chaos_witness_recou...

Are guards who participate in exicuting capital offenders in state, or federal prison system serial murders?

The answer is "Yes."

Why are alledged doctors who oversaw the U.S's torture program allowed to gain, or maintain a state medical license after leaving federal service?

As far as I know only the state of NY forbids doctors involved in the U.S. torture program from practicing medicine in their jourisdiction.

Apparently the Hippocratic Oath which contains, first do no harm is meaninless in almost all jourisdictions.

If a doctor overseeing an exicution can't even get that correct is he capable of any medical practice? A while back we had a discussion somewhere on A/U and most of the people involved in the discusion thought the simplest and easiest way is to give the person being exicuted an inert gas such as nitrogen.

Apparently that doesn't meet the revenge standard required by pro death penalty people.

One of the worst cases of botched plastic surgery I heard was a  circumcision where the doctor (who I think purposly), 'accidently'  severed the penis of a baby so he could prove his theory that sexual identity is determined at birth by the individual's identification with his/her genitalia. The famous doctor turned the boys genitalia into a girls genitalia and wrote about how sucessfull the surgery went for decades and how well the girl he created adapted to his cosmetic surgery. The 'girl' had sexual reasignment surgery in his twenties, which the doctor didn't report, yet continued writing in medical journals about how sucessfull his procedure was going. After the real transgender boy who was forced to be a girl because the doctor amputated the patients penis committed suicide the doctor was finally outed as lying on his medical literature.

The Boy Who Was Raised As A Girl - Botched Circumcision

You thought I was finished, didn't you?  I don't think I will ever be finished on this subject until not one boy in the world is forced to undergo this brutal and unnecessary operation.   I want to share with you a story that made me weep, and grind my teeth with fury, and made me want a gun.  It still makes me weep.   I apologise if the print is blurry, it will be from tears. I do urge you to read it, as it isn't a one-off as far as circumcision horror stories go, and the 'accidents' are still happening to this day. One accident is one too many.

See above link for more information.
It's unbelievable how many incompetent doctors are allowed to continue "Practicing" medicine. If practice and medicine should be associated. How do some of these people keep a licence to preform?

Scrotox SNL parady commercial.

Scrotox

In this commercial parody, a spokesperson (Alec Baldwin) promotes Scrotox. Derived from a botulism toxin, Scrotox smooths and plumps the fine lines, wrinkles and sagging skin of the scrotum. Some loss of feeling is to be expected. [Season 35, 2010]

However apparently this is a real procedure.

Cosmetic Surgery Times.

Ning is slow.

Think about it. People who go to school an trane to do facial reconstruction surgery after someone gets into a terrible accident also work with ass holes who do the folloiwing, which has to be at the lower end of the scale ethically. Monitarily though how much of a price can one put on having wrinkles removed from the scrotum.

How do these people get and maintain medical licencese?

Dr. Josef Mengele may have  answers.

Private Parts: Is 'scrotox' next?

Vaginal rejuvenation has gone from hush-hush to trending. The scenario will likely be much the same for men. They, too, want sexual parts to look and feel better, and men are starting to make those desires known, according to Beverly Hills, Calif., dermatologic surgeon Jason Emer, M.D.

“I have many younger male patients who are interested in this,” Dr. Emer says. “As the vaginal rejuvenation market is skyrocketing, men are seeking their own type of rejuvenation. Who wouldn’t want to be a little bit longer, thicker, or have more sensitivity and a better sex life? These men are also becoming interested in the cosmetic appearance of the actual penis and scrotum itself.”

The potential patient population also includes older men, who might have erectile dysfunction, resulting from age or health issues, such as prostate cancer treatment or high blood pressure, as well as cosmetic concerns that keep them from feeling good during intimacy or being comfortable naked, according to Dr. Emer.

Dr. Emer started doing penile enhancement treatments about three years ago. Until recently, most procedures involved using hyaluronic acid fillers or fat injections for penile enlargement. But injecting fillers and fat into the penis can be risky business. There are concerns, according to Dr. Emer, that small area, like the penis, fingers and noses, which have less blood circulation, could be at risk for serious complications from injectables, such as impending necrosis or vascular occlusion injuries.

So, Dr. Emer looked into other options — things he could do externally to the penis and scrotum to achieve desired outcomes with less risk. He found lasers and shock therapy are potential options in penile rejuvenation.

“These [modalities] stimulate the blood flow and theoretically can improve erectile dysfunction and, in turn, sexual stamina,” he says.

Just when you thought you heard it all

I thought it was stupid that the U.S. allowed advertizements for prescription medicine. New Zealand is the only other country that allows advertizements  for prescription medicine.  Perhaps this should be included as a reason why New Zealanders and (U.S.) Americans end sentances with HRT (high raise terminations) of sentances. (?)

More doctors 'come out of the woodwork'. to prove how kookie the medical profession can be and show how unethical the medical industry is the following stupid procedure is available.

Leave it to plastic surgeons to capitalize on needless proceedures.  Is this a rticle satire?

Ning is terribly slow again. Perhaps Ning doesn't like the context of the  following article.

Scrotox is Botox for the Scrotum

Once again, the world of cosmetic “beauty enhancement” has come up with a new fix for a nonexistent problem. It’s called scrotox, a portmanteau that describes Botox for the scrotum. The UK’s Metro writes it will run you about $3,600 (£2,800).
