Well, tomorrow starts the vegan lifestyle. I'm preparing for hunger. =)
I think I've put on 5 pounds eating all the damn dairy and eggs I could handle this last week. Pizza after pizza, (I really like pizza).
Trying to put a shopping list together to ease into the new vegan status. Any ideas out there?
I have dairy substitutes picked out for milk and yogurt. I love cream in my coffee, guess I'll try a soy creamer. Picking up Natural Balance as a butter replacement.
The rest of my list comprises the obvious; vegetables, fruits, legumes, grains and tofu.
Again, if there was something that helped you when you went vegan, let me know.
I have tried Daiya once and didn't like, will try again. Everyone else enjoys it. =(
It's interesting that giving up dairy is for me a much bigger challenge than giving up meat ever was...
