Samuel Barber is up there as one of Americas greatest composers, his Adagio for strings and in this case voices is just beautiful.

Whatever my thoughts about Benjamin Netanyahu's modern state of Israel. The Hatikvah Israel's national anthem is in my opinion one the most beautiful.

Pope Urban VIII thought the Miserere was so beautiful and sacred he banned it being played anywhere but the Sistine Chapel during Holy Week.
