I don't know why they seem to assume everyone can afford the damn costs!

I'm so angry the new series of Cosmos has been bought out by Sky TV the same people who own Fox news. So now its only available to those who have pay per view TV that really pisses me off

Space ant' fired laser at Earth, say astronomers

Astronomers have detected an extremely rare laser emission from the "spectacular" Ant Nebula which suggests a double star system is hidden at its core.
The rare laser blast is connected to the death of a star and was detected by the European Space Agency's Herschel space observatory.
When stars the middleweight size of our sun get to the end of their lives they shrink into dense white dwarfs, ejecting off their outer layers of gas and dust and creating a nebula.

“Say anything—multiverses, black holes, neutron stars, etc, etc, etc—to keep the taxpayer money flowing. It’s our paychecks we are protecting.”

Doone, that’s what the BB is all about.

In doing so, it creates multiverses: an endless supply of universes much like our own, populated with Earthlike planets, societies and even individuals that resemble us.

Mars Helicopter to Fly on NASA's Next Red Planet Rover Mission

NASA is sending a helicopter to Mars.
The Mars Helicopter, a small, autonomous rotorcraft, will travel with the agency's Mars 2020 rover mission, currently scheduled to launch in July 2020, to demonstrate the viability and potential of heavier-than-air vehicles on the Red Planet.
"NASA has a proud history of firsts," said NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine. "The idea of a helicopter flying the skies of another planet is thrilling. The Mars Helicopter holds much promise for our future science, discovery, and exploration missions to Mars."

What do big bangers and flat earthers have in common?

Imaginary evidence.

What do BBers have that FEers don’t have?

Taxpayer funding.

I have watched many of Prof. Cox's programs. We get them weekly here.

Comment by Chris on May 11, 2018 at 2:54pm

Mrs. B you would probably enjoy watching some if not most of the shows Brian Cox Has.

Look him up on youtube.

Here's a place to start. Follow his links to see more.

I purchased an Apple TV that I'll get help hooking up to my computer and TV so I can watch more interesting stuff such as the following. I should cut the cable and get TV viewing over the internet along with a TV antenna for local broadcasting such as news (as little as it's worth).
