Dominic Cummings Statement was the first time a non-civil servant private advisor was given permission to use the grounds of

Sounds like the way Liebrals in Australia are running the country.
At least your mob is still sitting while Australia's are not it is virtually shut down till August and running the country from what I can gather from politically aware people that is being done by the Covid committee, not the parliament.

'London is so strange and sad': the sacked hospitality workers sleeping rough

Homelessness charity says it has ‘never witnessed a more distressing situation’ than during coronavirus crisis
Trafalgar Square at night is silent and almost empty, the usual crowds of noisy tourists visiting London replaced by clusters of homeless people, who wait on the steps of the National Gallery for food to be distributed. But these are not all long-term rough sleepers: central London is seeing a surge of newly unemployed restaurant and pub workers forced to sleep on the streets because they can no longer afford to pay rent.

Hungary prepares to end legal recognition of trans people

Trans people fear more discrimination as Orbán pushes through law defining gender based on ‘sex at birth’

Hungary’s rightwing government looks likely to push through legislation that will end the legal recognition of trans people by defining gender as “biological sex based on primary sex characteristics and chromosomes” and thus making it impossible for people to legally change their gender.
