If you are too sick to work you won't receive health care?

The following sounds discombobulated but coincides with other viewponts of supremacy.

The Trump administration has told states they can cut off Medicaid benefits unless recipients meet work requirements. Michael Lighty of National Nurses United calls it an "authoritarian social engineering project" that targets the most vulnerable

I don't care about which healh care system is better for my friind in need of a kidney transplant.

He has insurance, works for a public sector school and is still concerned about receiving health coverage.

The guy is only 54 yares old.

In a neo-liberal  - forgive me, I meant free market health care economy he could purchase a kidney from a starving farmer  from India (for example).

For what it's worth.

A friend has been undergoing dialysis for three or four years.

He and I usually talk on the telephone briefly while he's undergoing the dialysis treatment. He's a teachers aid at a local middle school. He's worked there for a little more than 17 years. Hes gone though all the prerequisite procedures and is anxiously waiting for a donor kidney.

He's worried about the medical costs and lost time from work. He should be able to receive disability for lost time from work and he has medical insurance. Of course his medical insurance and disability worn't cover all his expensed.

A friend suggested setting up a Ucaring.com account on his behalf.

Can someone provide guidance for me to help him?

My first thought is to help him write a biography - then get estimates of medical costs and lost time from work.

Does someone have suggestions? Does someone know  about Kidney transplants?

Is there a better site than Ucare? Is there a web site where he might be able to find a donor?

Does anyone know anything about hemp oil? https://www.medicalmarijuanainc.com/what-is-cbd-hemp-oil/s. A friend said it may help with my chronic pain. I had a medical marijuna liscence three or four years ago. I didn't like the side effects from CBD cannibus oil so stopped taking it. My friend said hemp oil is different and has been legal in all fifty states longer than CBD cannibus oil.

Does anyone know about this?

Some Californians may be interested reading about, or participating in the UCLA Center for Health Policy Research.

This Simple Blood Test Can Predict Cancer Years Before Symptoms Appear. http://www.cancer.net/navigating-cancer-care/cancer-basics/genetics...

Like many cancer screening tests many aren't accurate.

It used to be that mastectomies and prostate cancer screenings were done to prevent the spread of disease. Since then most practitioners take a conservative approach.  Most men die of another disease rather than prostate cancer. Many women had radical mastectomies that didn't need them.

California may be the first state in the U.S. with universal health care.

California attempted to pass a universal health care law. If California was a country it would be the sixth some say eigth largest economy in the world. It passed the state senate and is stalled by the assembly in a majority Democrat state with a Democrat Governor.

More details should be ironed out which is better than the federal government is doing with Republican attempts to kill the Affordable Health Care Act which was proposed by the Heratige Institute (a conservative think tank).

Rod of Asclepius.

Like all symbols they take on different meanings.

Like many symbols they get lost in translation.  I thought the rod and staff representing medicine was entwined by the (Dracunculiasis) guinea worm rather than a snake.

Ridding the world from guinea worm is something the Jimmy Carter Center (former President of the U.S.)  has done great work to eradicate.
