Over the counter, medicines are still regulated but are deemed less potent than prescription drugs. I've never heard of vitamin pills filled with sawdust. A pharmacy wouldn't last long if it was caught selling stuff like that.

Many Chinese herbs are bullshit - especially things such as rinonourserous horns and tiger bones.

I one loøkes at some what may be called voodoo in some African countries regarding  albinos - disgusting.

I heard that some albinos in some African regions need to be burried under a concrete slab to prevent them from form being dug up.

I know others know more about this than I

I would argue that over the counter medicines such as vitamines are uneguletated. Get a pill filled with sawdust.

Much of this goes back to the snake oil days.

Interesting about snake oil  - that's another in debth subject though.

Here in the UK, only medicines that are bought freely over the counter are allowed to advertise. It is assumed that only you and your doctor can decide what drugs are the most suitable and applicable to your illness, very rarely is the cost of the medication taken into consideration. It's clinicians on the committee National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) that decide the cost-benefit equation.

Pharmicical commercials over run everything here in the States - including on the internet.  Why did New Zealand buy into advertizements for pharmicuticals.   The U.S. and New Zealand are the only two states (countries) that allow it.

Everyone in other states (countiries) are fortunate that pharmicutical companies aren't broadcasting.

Trelegy TV commercial

It gets worse than that one

Rexulti

The pharmicutial companies here in the States are terrible.

I think that The military Industrai Complex influences and lobies government first in line - second - may be a tie between carbon based fuel and pharmicuticals.

We could talk about the problem with pharmicutical compinies and medical insurance corporations. No one seems to want to talk about the top three lobbiests in WA DC.

When a country as rich as the United States,  doesn't provide cradle to the grave free health care something is very wrong. How it allows its poorer sections of society to go without proper healthcare and medicines is truly beyond me.

New HHS Secretary Alex Azar: The Fox Guarding the Henhouse Appointing Alex Azar, who ran the pharmaceutical company that skyrocketed drug prices, is the wrong way to go, unless your goal is to "enrich the pharmaceutical industry at the expense of the public health," says Alex Lawson, executive director of Social Security Works DATE: 2018-01-24 | LENGTH: 09:25

If you are too sick to work you won't receive health care?

The following sounds discombobulated but coincides with other viewponts of supremacy.

The Trump administration has told states they can cut off Medicaid benefits unless recipients meet work requirements. Michael Lighty of National Nurses United calls it an "authoritarian social engineering project" that targets the most vulnerable

I don't care about which healh care system is better for my friind in need of a kidney transplant.

He has insurance, works for a public sector school and is still concerned about receiving health coverage.

The guy is only 54 yares old.

In a neo-liberal  - forgive me, I meant free market health care economy he could purchase a kidney from a starving farmer  from India (for example).

For what it's worth.
