We are a worldwide social network of freethinkers, atheists, agnostics and secular humanists.

All the machines in this 1966 futuristic outlook on shopping and domestic life have come to be! All that's missing is the notion that these functions would wind up packaged in a tiny wireless pocket gizmo - at the time, computers were still pretty much fridge-size.

 

And then there's this vision from 1957:

 

 

Almost ten years prior, what a difference! They had a greater reliance on mechanical contraptions for their vision of the year 2000. But, computers were already beginning to show their domestic magic, if only with punch cards.
