This is BRILLIANT (The Onion, as usual):

Afterbirthers Demand To See Obama's Placenta

August 27, 2009 | ISSUE 45•35

WASHINGTON–In the continuing controversy surrounding the president's U.S. citizenship, a new fringe group informally known as "Afterbirthers" demanded Monday the authentication of Barack Obama's placenta from his time inside his mother's womb. "All we are asking is that the president produce a sample of his fetal membranes and vessels—preferably along with a photo of the crowning and delivery—and this will all be over," said former presidential candidate and Afterbirthers spokesman Alan Keyes, later adding that his organization would be willing to settle for a half-liter of maternal cord plasma. "To this day, the American people have not seen a cervical mucus plug, let alone one that has been signed and notarized by a state-certified Hawaiian health official. If the president was indeed born in the manner in which he claims, then where is his gestation sac?" Keyes said that if Obama did not soon produce at least a bloody bedsheet from his conception, Afterbirthers would push forward with efforts to exhume the president's deceased mother and inspect the corpse's pelvic bone and birth canal.

I think she qualifies as a stick and balloon creature or maybe her stomach is in her breasts - she is a made up creature and the stomach can be anywhere.

Barbie IRL of the Day

Barbie IRL of the Day

Barbie IRL of the Day: People talk and talk about how unrealistic Barbie’s 39-18-33 measurements would be if she were a real live girl. Hamilton College student Galia Slayen took the talk a step further and actually built a real life-size Barbie.

Slayen, who dressed her 6-foot-tall Barbie doll in a size 00 skirt she wore during her battle with anorexia, says she created the model to get people taking about eating disorders, but doesn’t blame her illness on the plastic icon’s distorted proportions alone.

“She’s one small factor, an environmental factor,” Slayen told TODAY.com. “I’m blond and blue-eyed and I figured that was what I was supposed to look like. She was my idol. It impacted the way I looked at myself.”

I love that picture, DG!

@Julien: nothing like as Chrstian to be able to distinguish Hollywood nonsense from reality! LOL

Okay, I was browsing through Al Pacino's page on IMDb and I remembered seeing the movie Mary Mother of Christ there a few months ago and now it was gone. I looked it up and I got to the message boards and found a little funny thread (at least the first message - I didn't really feel like reading the rest). Anyway, I thought it was funny and worth sharing.

I don't see why this movie has to be made:

THE NATIVITY STORY which came out in 2006 was very good and accurate.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0762121/

Dont get me wrong...a Christian themed movie is always a good idea BUT dont put little hollywood nonsense to sell a story. Tell the story as true to the Bible as possible. It is God word and should not be messed with by changing anything in it.

Mel Gibson added things to The Passion that are not biblical and what the Bible says should be the standard.

The underlined part is my favourite, especially coming from a person that supports and helds the Bible as the ultimate truth.
