Feedback and Notes

Due to Ning (our Web hosting company) being bought recently from the ashes of Mode Media we often experience 500 connection errors. Our apologies but these errors are out of our control. Hopefully, this will improve as the new company gains experience. Regards, AU

We are a worldwide social network of freethinkers, atheists, agnostics and secular humanists.

I have been watching Cartoon Network lately. Mainly because adult TV has gotten really boring, but I also still love cartoons. One day I was watching this one show called "The World of Gumball" and in the show you have this family which consists of a rabbit father, cat mom, rabbit daughter, cat son, and to ad some interest there is another son but this one is a fish..... with legs and arms, and do you know what this son's name is? It's Darwin. Yes. They gave a fish boy with arms and legs the name Darwin. Now I don't think a 6 year old watching this will get the connection unless he/she really knows their science, but a 28 yr old, like myself, got the somewhat hidden message. If there really is one. They could of named him anything. Charlie, Tim, Johnny, but they went with Darwin. If only there were more cartoons like this out there. You have to think that the creators of this show do believe in evolution and maybe want to show it in some way. I don't really see a better name for a fish-boy with arms and legs, but that's just me.
