The lockdown does work even if you bring it in late. Perhaps they should show this to Scump.

Canada has the right to study the possibility of loosening the lockdown you introduced measures weeks before Borass did. Whilst Europe was taking strict measures the UK was still allowing the Cheltenham race meeting and all the other sports events and Borass was even touting the notion of herd immunity. And he had to be pressured into taking stricter measures.

Things are supposed to begin loosening after our long weekend....but I don't know..........

Borass and his double talk and confusing messages have angered the very people he needs convincing.

Borass has just made his speech to the nation setting out his road map to normalising the economy. The last couple of days have been a disaster of double talk and miss messaging. With just had a Bank Holiday this weekend and people have been heading for the parks and beaches only to be told by the police and government that they shouldn't have, total confusion rains.

Up to 43m Americans could lose health insurance amid pandemic, report says

Prior to pandemic, 160 million got insurance through their job – but up to 7 million are unlikely to find new plans, say researchers
As many as 43 million Americans could lose their health insurance in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, according to a new report from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the Urban Institute.
Prior to the pandemic, 160 million Americans, or roughly half the population, received their medical insurance through their job. The tidal wave of layoffs triggered by quarantine measures now threatens that coverage for millions.

Accosted over a Costa: Boris is given a lecture by a walker as he heads to work (coffee in hand) to put finishing touches to lockdown loosening plan - before pleading with Brits to stay indoors this weekend... but parks, markets and beaches are packed

Boris Johnson today begged Britons to stay indoors during the last days of full coronavirus lockdown to avoid infections creeping back up.
He tweeted: 'Thank you for all you are doing to protect our NHS and save lives. This bank holiday weekend, please stay at home, so we don't undo everything we've done so far.'
Yet people still poured into the nation's beauty spots to soak up some bank holiday sunshine - including the Prime Minister who this morning strolled through St James's Park, where he was accosted by a finger-jabbing passer-by.
It compounded existing accusations that the government is sending mixed messages following a flurry of reports it is preparing to ditch its 'stay at home' slogan.
And further casting a cloud of confusion, a second tweet from the official Downing Street account said: 'If you are leaving the house this weekend you need to keep two metres apart from others.'
At this afternoon's Number 10 briefing, Transport Secretary Grant Shapps stressed that the advice has not changed and insisted the guidance was for people to remain indoors.

A member of the public stopped to give British Prime Minister Boris Johnson a talking to as he took a morning walk through St James's Park in London today. He was carrying a reusable Costa coffee cup
