Personally, I don't think they should even run once they reach 65.

Yes, the hate crimes are escalating here too, & people are showing the US attitudes in much higher numbers.

I don't wish harm to anyone even and including Scump. If as we all hope Biden beats Scump in November surely the Idiot, Cretin, Imbecile would be too old to stand again in 2024 that would make him 77 Oh oh Biden is 77. (The US Gerontocracy)

It would seem to me that Biden's running mate choice is all-important.

Scump the Stupid is getting people beat up, killed, and intimidated for wearing masks.  Everything is a cultural war for him.

We are a dysfunctional country now. I read a very disturbing story that Trump or Scump will try to run again in 2024 if he loses to Binden in 2020.  The years 2021 will be non stop lies by the conservatives about Biden and somehow people will end up blaming Biden for the economy and virus deaths.

The US doctors taking Trump’s lead on hydroxychloroquine – despite mixed results

The American Association of Physicians and Surgeons, a fringe group, offers advice that isn’t ‘consistent with evidence-based medicine’, experts say

There is an alternate universe of Covid-19 misinformation masquerading as science, which with the encouragement of Donald Trump, is proliferating among his supporters.
Among the most ardent proponents of these claims is the American Association of Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS), a fringe group of less than 5,000 doctors. The group was recently cited by Trump’s campaign manager, Brad Parscale, to explain the president’s stunning announcement that he is taking the drug hydroxychloroquine in an attempt to protect himself against Covid-19 despite a lack of evidence of its effectiveness.

When asked what evidence guided the president’s decision-making, Trump said: “Are you ready? Here’s my evidence: I get a lot of positive calls about it.”

Coronavirus: Nurse 'hasn't hugged son, two, in five weeks'
Charlotte Cole and her husband Daniel isolated from George, two, after Covid-19 was confirmed at her workplace

A self-isolating nurse who has been separated from her two-year-old son for five weeks has said not being able to hug him has been "heartbreaking".
Charlotte Cole took the "hard decision" to move George to her parents, who live five minutes away, after Covid-19 was confirmed at one of her workplaces.
The 30-year-old and her husband have been making daily trips to see the toddler through a window ever since.
She said she wanted "to give him a cuddle" but thought it too risky.
"It was such a hard decision to isolate from George but I was coming into contact with people with coronavirus on a daily basis," said Ms Cole, who works as a care nurse for a company which serves nursing homes around the North West.
She said she also wanted to protect her mum Bridget, 55, and dad Robert, 65, who usually look after the toddler while she and Daniel, who works as a data analyst, are at work.
"Because of my work I am a continuing risk," she said.  "I decided I would rather they stayed in a bubble than put them all at risk," she said.
At first the couple, both 30, from Kirkham, Lancashire, thought the lockdown would last just a few weeks but as the lockdown extended Ms Cole said being away from George had become more difficult.
"The house just feels so empty," she said.
"We have videos calls everyday and my mum and dad send me lots of pictures of him having breakfast and playing which is lovely, but it's the simple things I miss like not being able to read him a bedtime story, bath time even making him his lunch."
She added: "They love having him but it is really hard for Daniel and I."
When her parents' next door neighbour, and professional photographer, spotted the daily visits he asked Ms Cole if she would like him to take pictures as a record of the moment for the family.
Peter Austin, 45, said: "It was such a joyful family occasion. I wanted to give the family, who are my friends as well as neighbours, something to help them remember this time in a positive way."

Charlotte Cole said she initially thought the lockdown would last just a few weeks

I personally don't think Cummings did any harm in the scheme of things. But the thing is he and Borass devised the planes of the lockdown rules and regulations and expected all of us to obey those rules, but they always think they are above such things.

Comment by Stephen on May 23, 2020 at 1:54pm

I knew Borass wouldn't fire Dominic Cummings and Cummings himself Deny's any wrongdoing. Total hypocrisy.

Coronavirus: Dominic Cummings rejects calls to quit as PM's chief adviser
Dominic Cummings says he "obviously" will not be quitting as the prime minister's chief adviser over claims he broke coronavirus lockdown rules.
He said he did the "right thing" by travelling 260 miles with his family to be near relatives when his wife developed Covid-19 symptoms.
Downing Street said he wanted to ensure he had childcare if he got symptoms.
Labour and the SNP say he flouted the government's own advice and are calling for an urgent inquiry into his conduct.
It comes as the government announced 282 more people had died with coronavirus since Friday, across all settings, bringing the total to 36,675.
