Trump budget

The White House’s budget proposal for 2018, released Thursday, seeks cuts in science and health agencies across the board. Congress has final approval on this request from the president. Some budgetary wallets would be lightened more than others. Here is the breakdown.

Environmental Protection Agency: 31 percent cut
2017: $8.2 billion
2018: $5.7 billion

National Institutes of Health: 19 percent cut
2017: $31.7 billion
2018: $25.9 billion

U.S Department of Agriculture: 21 percent cut
2017: $22.6 billion

Department of Energy: 6 percent cut
2017: $29.7 billion
2018: $28.0 billion

NASA: 1 percent cut
2017: $19.2 billion
2018: $19.1 billion

National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration: 1 percent cut
2017: $5.8 billion
2018: $5.6 billion

Chemical Safety Board: 100 percent cut
2017: $12.4 million
2018: $0

__

Here's what Trump's budget proposes to cut reported by CNN.

A weekend in the Southern White house would cover more than the cost for some of the items cut such as Meals on Wheels.

Lexus Nexus has a crime map that is interesting to view.  The media leads with violent crime which seems to make people fearful. If you look at the map in your neighborhood you likely will find crime isn't as widespread as portrayed.

Unspeakable Realities Block Universal Health Coverage In America

Election 2016 has prompted a wave of head-scratching on the left. Counties Trump won by staggering margins will be among the hardest hit by the repeal of the Affordable Care Act. Millions of white voters who supported Donald Trump stand to lose their access to health coverage because of their vote.

Individual profiles of Trump voters feed this baffling narrative. A Washington Post story described the experience of Clyde Graham, a long-unemployed coal worker who depends on the ACA for access to health care. He voted for Trump knowing it might cost him his health insurance out of his hope of capturing the great white unicorn – a new job in the mines. His stance is not unusual.

Why are economically struggling blue collar voters rejecting a party that offers to expand public safety net programs? The reality is that the bulk of needy white voters are not interested in the public safety net. They want to restore their access to an older safety net, one much more generous, dignified, and stable than the public system – the one most well-employed voters still enjoy.

When it seems like people are voting against their interests, I have probably failed to understand their interests. We cannot begin to understand Election 2016 until we acknowledge the power and reach of socialism for white people.

Americans with good jobs live in a socialist welfare state more generous, cushioned and expensive to the public than any in Europe. Like a European system, we pool our resources to share the burden of catastrophic expenses, but unlike European models, our approach doesn’t cover everyone.

New Website -

At best, Trump’s statements are no better than junior high gossip. At worst, they jeopardize the confidence of our global allies and posit our president as the sole source of reality. Enough is enough.

At the time I write this, unless something changes, we have 1405 days, 7 hours, 18 minutes, and 9 seconds left of this madness. (https://howlonguntiltrumpleaves.com/)

The Trumpies just don't know when to quit:

The White House has tried to soothe an angry Britain after suggesting that President Barack Obama used London’s spy agency to conduct secret surveillance on President Trump while he was a candidate last year.

....Sean Spicer, the White House press secretary, spoke with Kim Darroch, the British ambassador to Washington, on Thursday night to try to smooth over the unusual rupture between the United States and its closest international ally. The White House said it would issue a statement later on Friday morning.

The flap started when Mr. Spicer, in the course of defending Mr. Trump’s unsubstantiated accusation that Mr. Obama had ordered the future president’s phones tapped last year, read from the White House lectern comments by a Fox News commentator asserting that the British spy agency was involved. Andrew Napolitano, the commentator, said on air that Mr. Obama had used Britain’s Government Communications Headquarters, the signals agency known as the GCHQ, to spy on Mr. Trump.

It's like I said yesterday: Trump needs to get it through his head that he's now the president of the United States. It's not Rosie O'Donnell he's feuding with anymore. When he tosses off random crap because he's bored and wants attention—and then refuses to back down because Donald Trump never backs down—he wastes everyone's time and risks far more than just his own tattered reputation.

The result so far of Trump's obvious lie is that the Senate is wasting time pretending to investigate; the House is wasting time pretending to investigate; the Justice Department is wasting time responding to the House and Senate; the conservative media is wasting time inventing ever more crap to defend Trump's original crap; the White House communications shop is wasting time desperately trying to research spin to back up their boss; and the prime minister of Great Britain is pissed off. All because Trump got bored one morning. What a cock-up.

The driver was a she. But your right how do you know her intentions.

But just saying what she said goes too far.
