Who can get through a day of the 2016 presidential campaign and not think of this? Here's part of how my mom did it in the late 1930s and the 1940s. I didn't know what she had in mind when she raised us as if there was no such thing as boys' work or…Continue

sorry, i just thought the horse leaving was cute.  and yes, curly girl, like most adults, i am aware loose horses in crowds can be dangerous, but i posted article explaining no one was injured, though.  Not every remark is serious around here, this is the Coffee Break group!!  lolz.

To Deb, i so so so so agree, completely, the idea of one family being treated as special, and living off alllll the other's earnings is just ridiculous.  Amazing to me that is tolerated in 2011....

I heard the price tag of the wedding once, it was astounding, but, i forgot the number now.  And even if we don't give a rat's ass, we could not avoid hearing about it, unless you prevent mainstream media from entering your home or computer, for many days in a row.

still, i like "the horse leaving" picture!!  YES I DO!!!   rofl!!  If it is possible to put on your 'humor glasses' and look again, (since no one was hurt) i still think it is cute to think about---- the horse left and went home all by himself.

@Stephen - yeah, I'd agree with you, but I don't believe in capital punishment.  Strip them of their riches and let them live in the street.  They are no different from anyone else who does.  That's the thing that gets me.  The comfort, the riches, and for what.  Nothing.  I wish there could be a revolution without bloodshed.  That's what I wish for.  So I try to lead by example.  A simple life, growing vegetables and trying my darndest to be compassionate.  But this s__t enfuriates me.

@Deb - well, if you'd heard the marriage service and how heavily loaded it was with religion, you really would have vomited. The whole thing encapsulated so much of what I hate, religion and a ruling order mutually supporting each other. Off with their heads, I say!

@ Stephen, whose comment on my comment I could read on my email but I'll be darned if I can find it here.  I'll never get used to this format.. sigh..  Anyway, Bill Maher's comment is funny, but it's a slam to gays if you ask me.   I mean really, who gives a rip?  I get so angry about the money spent on this crap when so many are starving.  It's immoral.  And people eat it up without shame!  I went for a mamo at the hospital today.  Three women were staring at a computer.  Silly me, I thought they were working.  One of them looks up and says with a big smile, 'We're looking at pictures'.  I put a croocked smile on my face and say, 'Oh yeah?  What KIND of pictures?', not having any clue what they were talking about, but joking that they might be porno.  She said, 'the wedding'.  oh gawd.  I knew what she was talking about then!  I wanted to vomit.  It's like Christmas in December.  No matter how hard you try you can't get away from it.

@Deb - Bill Maher's comment on Twitter cracked me up:

"Its being reported that a third of the world watched the royal wedding - and yet they claim gays are only 3 pct of population?"

Am I the only person in the world who couldn't give a rats behind about 'the wedding'?

I just saw the Meth Lab.  That's the first time I've laughed out loud in a month.  Thanks!

Did you see the hat that woman was wearing at around 0:21! How embarrassing. What a clown. I thought it was a satire video at first.

Ha, a horse in the royal wedding decided he was done with the whole matter, and went home, on his own....just dumped his rider and ran home to his stable....

//Fortunately for the frightened animal, and the thousands lining the streets, it made straight for home – the stables of the Horse Guards’ Barracks further up Whitehall//
