Not that I've ever noticed, & I make tea in a pot too. The only thing I have found refreshing on a hot day is an ice cold sports drink with the electrolytes or whatever it is.

Coffee Well made is a delicious drink but don't you find Tea more refreshing?

Comment by Mrs.B on April 24, 2019 at 1:07pm

I drink 2 cups of tea, & 2 cups of coffee per day, so I like both.

We Brits drink what Americans mistakenly call breakfast tea. Nothing special just ordinary tea bags. Here's what I usually drink.

The Frapichino and milk - doesn't compair to  chocholate -  and  coffee.

Funny about Baristers  in coffee houses.

Yeah, I have a French press as well as a proper coffee machine. The press is really convenient to make just one or two cups.

I make what may be called "sun" tea.

Tea bag in a picture sitting in the sun.

French Press. or turkish cofee.

On coffee. A french press.

I should get a new french press - I think that's better than capiccino- with the foaming milk and whatnot.

What I find strange is that many Americans think that tea is somehow posh even when told that the majority of Brits drink many cups daily. Even today most Brits only drink real coffee outside the house. I on the other hand love to make coffee at home, but on a warm day, you can't beat a cup of tea because it's really refreshing but anyone who drinks ice tea is a heretic hahaha.

A cup of coffee would be great as well.
