Goodness me, what a palaver. It's nice that your neighbours are helping and that you have a stash of food to get you through. Hope you both keep as well as possible, and no more snow comes.

We've been pretty much snowed in Suzanna.

Our neighbours have been great about clearing our driveway etc., as well as other neighbours with ATV's who have blades attached have cleared the roadway & sidewalks out front, since the city has seen fit not to do it!

Getting to town has been horrific, so am glad I stock plenty of non perishables & frozen foods to get through.

My husband clears the back yard to reach the shed, & back stairs, but he has a very bad heart & shouldn't really be doing any of it.

Now that's what you call snow, I imagine it's very inconvenient that amount.

Comment by Mrs.B on February 24, 2018 at 10:24pm

Likely because of your humidity,& temps that aren't low enough to dry it out.

Snow in London usually turns into rock-hard ice in very short time

Comment by Mrs.B on February 24, 2018 at 6:58pm

At least this is powdery, so not too difficult to shovel.

We've been given a weather warning for snow in London for Tues to Fri I just hope it's not as bad as yours. I don't suppose it will be.

What an interesting BBC film about the building of the Dam in Ethiopia.

360% panning shots really brings the project alive.

Yeah, yours will be the wet heavy kind....awful stuff. Ours is powder.
