Welcome to Animal | Vegetable | Mineral

I never cease to be awed by the splendor of the natural world, by the forces that shape the earth, and by the diversity and ingenuity of the life that populates it.

Animal | Vegetable | Mineral is a group where those who share this fascination can discuss the Earth and animal sciences of geology, volcanology, seismology, ecology, ethology, primatology, entymology—basically all the –ologies of the natural world.

Marrella is a genus of arthropod from the Cambrian Period. It had a colourful, iridescent sheen due to its diffraction grating pattern.

Many Scump like animals in the past

Moschops was a herbivorous therapsid with a very thick head for headbutting rivals. Its short tail was very heavy to counter the weight of the head. (Credit: Dmitry Bogdanov)

I suppose if he admitted it was the drought then he might have to admit global warming exists. I have no idea why anyone rates the guy.

Trump on the fires.

trump tweet on california wildfires

(CNN)President Donald Trump's tweet blaming "gross mismanagement" for the devastating California wildfires is sparking a backlash from top firefighters' associations, politicians and celebrities.

In a series of tweets Saturday, Trump said the state's deadly wildfires are a result of poor forest management and threatened to cut federal aid.
"There is no reason for these massive, deadly and costly forest fires in California except that forest management is so poor," Trump tweeted. "Billions of dollars are given each year, with so many lives lost, all because of gross mismanagement of the forests. Remedy now, or no more Fed payments!"
...
I've gotten to the point where  I thing that guy "Trump"  doesn't know scat, or understand that perhaps the drought may be a cause of the fires on the West Coast.

Why do some people still worship him?
