Animal | Vegetable | Mineral is a group where those who share this fascination can discuss the Earth and animal sciences of geology, volcanology, seismology, ecology, ethology, primatology, entymology—basically all the –ologies of the natural world.

Placed in incubators shortly after their premature birth March 5, these twin polar bears were not expected to survive.But amazingly, the sisters celebrated their 100-day birthday Wednesday, thanks to great care from their keepers at Tianjin Haichang Ocean World in northern China.
