doone posted a videoWe are a worldwide social network of freethinkers, atheists, agnostics and secular humanists.
I never cease to be awed by the splendor of the natural world, by the forces that shape the earth, and by the diversity and ingenuity of the life that populates it.

Comment by Chris on June 12, 2012 at 1:00am Plastic beverage containers should be banned and replaced with glass too. Here's a list of the top 10 items washing up on our shores. The list is surprising. At least item 1 and 10 will break down. I suppose #9 will to eventually. If #2 caps and lids, and 6 were made of metal maybe sea life wouldn't eat them. Plastic stirrers could be make of wood, or aluminum, and straws could be made of paper. The other plastic containers, plates, and utensils could be made out of a biodegradable corn plastic.
It seems like sea life that eats krill could end up starving to death with bellies full of plastic.
