Feedback and Notes

Due to Ning (our Web hosting company) being bought recently from the ashes of Mode Media we often experience 500 connection errors. Our apologies but these errors are out of our control. Hopefully, this will improve as the new company gains experience. Regards, AU

We are a worldwide social network of freethinkers, atheists, agnostics and secular humanists.

Maysoon Zayid..
Writer, actor, comedian, Maysoon Zayid is the co-founder of the New York Arab-American Comedy Festival.

Her story is very inspiring!

"I have cerebral palsy. I shake all the time," Maysoon Zayid announces at the beginning of this exhilarating, hilarious talk. (Really, it's hilarious.) "I'm like Shakira meets Muhammad Ali." With grace and wit, the Arab-American comedian takes us on a whistle-stop tour of her adventures as an actress, stand-up comic, philanthropist and advocate for the disabled.

TEDTalks is a daily video podcast of the best talks and performances from the TED Conference, where the world's leading thinkers and doers give the talk of their lives in 18 minutes (or less). Look for talks on Technology, Entertainment and Design -- plus science, business, global issues, the arts and much more.

Women are all inspirational in every way!

I won't argue with that because surprising how many men come with ideas because of their woman!

I've seen her speak via video's (not in person) on five or six occasions and am glad she is given a voice.

WOW WOW WOW What an inspiration, I never heard of her before but will keep an eye on her from now on

I hadn't heard of her either and I'm glad I have, she gives a voice and face to the disabled and that has to be a good thing, I think most disabled people cope by having a sense of humor about it, I think maybe people aren't sure about you until you make a joke and then they decide oh they are normal.
