Introducing the Patient’s Right to Know Act

by Neil Carter
Did you know that if you have ovarian cancer for which the treatment would cause sterility, healthcare facilities run by religious institutions will withhold specific types of chemotherapy and not tell you they even exist? The same goes for treatments of testicular cancer. Any course of treatment which renders a man unable to reproduce is strictly forbidden [Read More...]

I cant believe how wicked these religious people can stoop. To actually withhold treatment or information that could save a persons life because your church tells you so. Talk about evil.

.......But......but.....but.....religion is perfect, upstanding, especially calflicks, & has all the answers for everyone at all times, dontcha know.

Oh ok that all makes perfect sense, I don't know what came over me to question it=)

Ok, you're forgiven, but just don't let it happen again...huh? Hahahaha!!!!!

Brest cancer in women of color from African backound have less medicical care/knowledge and support from the medical industry.

Many men have prostrate cancer, but die from something else.

Now they plan for MRSA if you have any kind of surgery. Our antibiotics just don't cut it anymore.

Its an outrage that money is more important than health care, or life!

My husband has a very bad heart & is on 5 or 6 meds, & I am also on many meds due to Reflux/IBS/Microscopic Colitis/BloodPressure, etc, & we spend a lot each month.

Of course medical covers 80%, but we still have to pay the pharmacy & then wait for Blue Cross to reimburse.....when they damn well feel like it......so we're always waiting for the funds to come back.

We have extended coverage too, but I can't imagine going bankrupt over trying to pay for meds.

Well at least we live in Canada rather than the US, which has it much worse.

We quite rightly complain about things here in the UK, but I cant imagine being without the NHS it might not be perfect, but I wouldn't want to change it. Even the Tory's tread lightly when it comes to the NHS.

We complain too, Stephen, & although we have good coverage, it could be better for many things.
