8 Ugly Sins of the Catholic Church

If pedophile payouts weren’t enough to convince you the Catholic leadership is often anything but moral, take a look at some of their other sins.

I wonder why the writer stopped at eight.

You're right, why stop at eight? That is an excellent list though, tagging that for more discussion.

The Catholic Church is run by morally ugly people.  Neal is right, why stop at 8 sins?

The cardinal sin is that they claim moral authority.
As they always have for eons.

Before, they were able to hide their turpitude, cover it up, and masquerade in virtue. Now that it is being widely demonstrated that many of the clergy are perverted creeps, if one still insists on being guided morally by them, one has to have his eyesight examined.

I can't believe the faithful won't soon run out of excuses for these behaviors...

They need more than their eyesight examined, they want their hearing as well and see a shrink to see if they are not certifiably inane if not insane!

What moral authority? Who gave them that moral authority?

The rulers, initially?

Yes! After they brainwashed them first, so that they became their right hand man!

If they have access to the White House and other leaders in other countries, I wonder how influential they are in making public decisions and what their influence might be and what form it takes ?
