We are a worldwide social network of freethinkers, atheists, agnostics and secular humanists.

Here's a new free 10 page essay that explains, from a former evangelical Christian, how science kills Christian theology:

“Modern Science and Philosophy Destroys Christian Theology"

Interesting fellow. He makes a lot of sense and obviously knows very well his religious stuff.
I'm liking this:

Here’s an interesting way to deal with a Christian in a debate and destroy their
arguments with science: bring up “Adam and Eve” and “Noah’s Ark.” Can the
creationist admit these are myths? They are “damned if they do, damned if they
don’t.” If they don’t admit it, they prove themselves to be scientifically illiterate. If
they do admit it, they will alienate most of their Christian supporters. Also be
prepared to spell-out the consequences of accepting it as a myth (No “Adam and
Eve” means no “original sin” since there was no original humans to cause it. No
flood means the heart of the gospel, as preached in the Bible, is ripped-out, per 1
Peter 3:20-22.)1112
